Tosin Bee is a Contemporary African (ALUJO) gospel artiste whose music centres on percussion such as the talking drum, the drum set, Shekere, Omele and other local instruments delivering deliciousness to his ALUJO sound and performances.
Tosin Bee is an outstanding singer, songwriter, and anointed minister. As a songwriter, Tosin Bee has composed quite a number of songs, a significant number of which have spread across continents as powerful worship choruses. Prominent among these tracks are “You Are God, Soromidayo, No Lockdown, Testimony, Blessed, and It’s Happening”. His music has also received robust attention in the media, with frequent airplay across various radio stations in Nigeria.
Having composed English, Yoruba, pidgin, and in R&B and Soul genres, Tosin Bee’s talent infuses a cultural intersection into the international music industry. With listeners in Africa, Europe and North America, Tosin Bee’s music has aided the acceptance of African Languages in Western climes, while projecting Western genres in African societies.
Tosin Bee was nominated as the Gospel Artiste of the Year in the sixth annual Nigeria Entertainment Awards (NEA). Tosin Bee also received Three nominations at His Majesty Award 2018; Male Artiste of the Year, song of the Year and Best Male Vocal.
Tosin Bee currently serves God through different worship expressions among which are: Switch with Tosin Bee, which is an annual Musical concert, Praise Affair, and Communion with Tosin Bee; a hybrid worship meeting which he convenes every first day of the month. Given his passion for building the younger generation, Tosin Bee actively mentors young Ministers and Choirs. His work is aimed at helping his mentees attain mastery of their gifts, such that the Body of Christ is edified.
Tosin Bee performs mostly with his band “Tosin Bee Music Band” also known as “Beezlenation” which comprises of band members: Omoniyi Esther Abimbola (Background Vocalist), Elubode Sinmioluwa Ayodeji (Bass Guitarist), Akapo Oluwagbogo Oluwadara (Keyboardist), Arijoshola Oluwatimileyin Joseph (Talking drummer), Aliyu Samuel Enesi (Background Vocalist), Sobaloju Felicia Ayodeji (Background Vocalist) and Edey Philemon Ikhazuagbe (Keyboardist).
Today, the international music industry reflects impressive prospects for African talents that fall within the R&B and Soul genres, and Afrobeats. This international acceptance resonates across countries including the United States and the United Kingdom. Tosin Bee’s skills, talent, and excellence in music also continue to push African arts and culture to the frontiers of international prominence.
